Nomadways is a non-for-profit association based in France. We are an independent entity and are not connected to any institutional, governmental or political entities. The association is run by non-formal educators, project designers and artivists who come from France, Italy and Bulgaria. We do not give access to any private data of our website visitors to third parties.

WHAT DATA DOES OUR WEBSITE COLLECT?

STATISTICS

For this website, we use the platform Squarespace which provides us with hosting and some basic analytics information. To do so, we collect the following data:

  • Visitor IP Address - The IP Address;

  • Page Visited - The page or post title accessed;

  • Referrer - The URL the visitor previously accessed.

DATA ABOUT YOURSELF

For the needs of our projects, if you apply for a workshop, we ask you to fill in an application form. All the data there is strictly confidential, therefore we store it in a safe space and do not share it with anyone outside the legal members of association.

Therefore, we only collect information about you when you provide it to us. For example, when you fill out our online application forms or subscribe to our newsletter.

WHAT ARE WE USING YOUR DATA FOR

STATISTICS

The activity log information which the platform collects automatically is only used for statistical summaries of the usages of our website. This information is important for us so we know how many visitors do we have, how often, from which countries and geographical areas. We do not extract, nor use any detailed information about every singe visitor of nomadways.org.

PROJECTS

In case you have filled in an application form on our website, we collect the information to maintain our selection of participants and later, to issue insurances, and provide information about the participants to the funding programme (which is the administration of Erasmus+, the French National Agency).

The information is kept safely on our secured servers. It is not being shared with any other parties outside the contract with you once you agree to attend our project.

NEWSLETTER

Your name and email are stored on our secured emailing platform “Mailchimp” and are being used only to send you our monthly email newsletter.
