Visual Facilitation Lab. 2026. France
In collaboration with the associations La Paillasse and Essor – Savoirs et Partage, Nomadways facilitated a week of study-oriented holidays for young people experiencing difficulties at school.
The objective was to support learning through indirect and experiential approaches(“pédagogies du détour”), creating alternative pathways to engage with knowledge beyond traditional academic frameworks.
During the week, our Julia introduced visual facilitation tools and theatre-based activities focused on expression, confidence, and eloquence. These methods, inspired in part by practices developed within our CLOWNnection project, offered the young participants new ways to understand, express, and connect with what they were learning.
The programme was built around the theme of gods and goddesses from mythology, using their stories as a symbolic starting point to explore personal experiences, imagination and the creation of meaning. This approach encouraged participants to engage more deeply with the learning process in a playful and accessible way.
We particularly cherish this narrative framework and are therefore committed to spreading it more widely. We'll keep you updated! We'll do so around June, when we receive feedback from the National Agency regarding our applications to E+ projects.
This is one of the ways in which we are committed to developing creative, inclusive and embodied educational practices at a local level, supporting young people in regaining confidence and reconnecting with learning 🙌
